Get It: Aspen Wool Vest
Heritage 1981 keeps cranking out the best pieces for fall and winter. Above is the "Aspen Wool Vest" which would go great with the tartan shirt trend this season. The best news: it's only $28!

Spotted: Mary-Kate Olsen
Like most of the hipster world, I am over my affinity with Cory Kennedy. But when I found this gem, I could not resist. Pictured with Cory is my favorite fashion icon, Mary-Kate Olsen, in what looks like a beautiful jacket and peacock feathers wrapped around her forehead. Lovely!

What I'm Diggin: American Apparel Halloween
It's almost Halloween, and that usually means exhaustive contemplation concerning a great costume idea. A lot of websites this year are making pretty good suggestions, but nothing tops these simplistic costumes from American Apparel (by use of American Apparel clothing of course). Below are my favorites.

Spotted: Ross "The Intern" Matthews
HEY BLOG BUDDIES! The Ross Blog is my not-so-secret obession. I check it every day and cannot get enough of his "Talky Blogs", which was why I was super excited that TheCobrasnake captured him in the latest album!

Spotted: Kim Kardashian
Mark Hunter captured this moment involving internet famous Cory Kennedy and not really famous Kim Kardashian at the Heatherette fashion show. There is nothing I enjoy more than a wannabe hipster celebrity clearly taking a cheap shot at a real wannabe celebrity.

Spotted: Karl Lagerfeld
TheCobrasnake has been all over the spotting of celebrities lately. In his last Paris post, Mark captured the elusive Karl Lagerfeld. Chanel and TheCobrasnake definitely need to collaborate...I'm thinking tweed jackets embossed with neon green cobras!

Spotted: Mark Ronson
Mark Ronson was captured by The Skullset performing at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. I'm loving how the pictures look like they come right out of The Beatles era.

Runway: Balenciaga Spring 2008
Nicolas Ghesquière did it again! I'm in love with the Balenciaga Spring 2008 collection, even though it was somewhat unusual. I especially liked the knee-high gladiator sandals. Mary-Kate Olsen was sporting similar looking ones a few weeks ago. I predict they will have the same allure as those brilliant robo-leggings. Below are my favorite looks:

Spotted: Agyness Deyn
Model of the minute (more like model of the year at this point) Agyness Deyn was spotted by TheCobrasnake rocking a new haircut. I was a big fan of her previous cut/color, so this new look is going to take some getting used to. Thank god she is no longer wearing those ridiculous House of Holland tees!

Get It: Verizon's Juke, Pearl, Venus, and Voyager
In just a few weeks Verizon will be blitzing the cell phone market by simultaneously releasing 4 new phones, and I am surprisingly impressed with all four! The first is called the Samsung Juke and will have 2GB storage along with a swivel opener. Second is the very cool looking "new variety" Pearl. Next to that is the Venus slider or the LG VX8800, which will be pretty similar to the Chocolate except it will have two touch sensitive screens and a very sleek design. Lastly is the creme de la creme of the bunch, called the LG Voyager / LG VX10000, which is basically a totally sleek and slimer version of the Verizon EnV, equipped with a QWERTY keyboard, and a large external touchscreen.
The links include additional information for all four phones.

What I'm Diggin: Kid Nation
If you haven't already tuned into Kid Nation on CBS, do it! At first I was skeptical, it seemed far too cheesy for my taste. But after giving it a chance I was totally impressed...of its absolute hilarity! Favorite happenings so far:
Sophia whoring herself out in the town square to buy herself a bike.
Mallory and her sister starting a "pet daycare" involving taking care of the other kid's stuffed animals.
Greg, displaying his abnormal amount of life skills for a 15 year old, by not only being familiar with slaughtering chickens, but also having experience with PBC piping.
And last but not least, the fact that the kids have to compete in order to determine their class within town society. Slavery, anyone?
Oh the things I would do to be younger and on this show.
