You may have noticed I took a break from this blog. I apologize. I was super busy and updating this blog slowly moved farther and farther down my list of things to do. I had a plan in my head to retire this blog exactly a year after it started, but I didn't even have the motivation to do that!

Recently I attended a showing of The Orphanage and it was totally brilliant! Scariest movie I have seen in a long time. Ever since I watched the Saved by the Bell episode in which the gang sleeps over at the mall, it has always been a childhood dream of mine to sleep over and live in a department store. While my dream has yet to be realized, Mark Malkoff, a nyc comedian, was granted access to live in IKEA while his nyc apartment is fumigated. Jealousy! He just moved in yesterday and will be there for a week. He will be posting videos throughout the week here. Below is the video from Day 1.

U Magazine is one of those things that has been around for years but every time they make a new issue it gains excitement all over again. They are an online magazine that features a hodgepodge of photographs featuring models and fashion by use of a very unique approach. Their graphic designs are so innovative and unique, I can't get enough!

Get It: Jitney Canvas Weekender

*I apologize for the lack of updating lately. If you know me personally my excuse can be summed up in one word: Capping.

Next semester, backpacks are over. Sure they were useful for quite some time, but their time has come. I'm all about the above "Jitney Canvas Weekender" from Urban Outfitters. I refuse however to use the strap because there is nothing I hate more than when people turn a completely adequate bag into a messenger bag. Handles all the way!
